November ushers in the beginning of one of America's most traditionally festive holidays-Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is anticipated not only because of the joy of family coming together for the holidays but also for the turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, potatoes and all of the other mouth watering foods many of us eat on that day. So we are devoting special attention to this and will be bringing you articles on how to stay healthy and fit during the holidays. This month we will be bringing you part 2 of Amy Coate's interview with Yuri Elkaim and the coach's insights into how people can shed excess fat and keep it off.
Looking for tips on how to improve your memory? James Gunaseelan has some simple mental exercises that you can use to keep your memory sharp. Also, fish is one of the most abundant sources of essential fatty acids that we need to remain healthy but could unusually high levels of toxic metals in fish be putting you and your family at risk? That's an issue that Dr. Mark Hyman will address in his article on the dangers of mercury poisoning and fish.
And as always we will be bringing you insightful and motivational articles about anti-aging, nutrition, exercise, obesity and other topics to keep you and your family informed in ways to lead a healthy lifestyle.
