Osteoarthritis (OA) is a very common form of arthritis. Affecting nearly 27 million Americans, the disease wreaks havok on the joints. Patients often complain of pain, stiffness and swelling which is caused by degenerative loss of cartilage that acts as a cushion between the joints.

Medical scientists are currently seeking patients for research studies that shall explore better treatment options for OA.
